Happy New Year folks!!

Yay!! Happy new year everyone!! I have been saving up on fire works!! I can't wait. Every year we go to church on saturday night and we fire our fire crackers!! I have been very busy and its hard to post. My cousins Rayne and Martin came over and I was busy having sleep-overs! Anyway, Happy New Year!!

Good news and bad news,...

I have a lot of news but I have two big things i want to tell you. Bad news first. My camera died forever!!! Good news. I got to open one present today and it was a way better CAMERA!! Aren't you excited? I am.

Here is a story about my Christmas. Enjoy.!!

My Christmas Story

“Oh Wow!! I can’t believe I got a Lamborghini for Christmas!! Mom, dad, ya’ll are awesome! I yelled excitedly. “McKenna, wake up! Wake up!” I heard in the distance. POOF!! My dream came to a sudden halt. Logan was standing by my bed with a smile from ear to ear. Then I remembered, IT’S CHRISTMAS!! “Thanks for waking me up!” I said as I threw my robe on and skipped down the hallway to my older brothers rooms. “HEY! GUYS!! IT’S CHRISTMAS! WAKE UP!!” I yelled at the top of my lungs. We all pounded down the stairs two steps at a time.  Mom and Dad were already up. ‘Merry Christmas sweet peas!” Mom said as to greet us. “Merry Christmas kiddos!” My dad sleepily said. Everyone sat down where ever they liked to and listen to dad read the Christmas story about Jesus. Everyone seemed a little restless the whole time.  Finally, dad closed the bible and proclaimed, “Now to open presents!!” Mom would pick up the presents and hand them to dad. Dad would read the name aloud and hand it to the person it was for. I felt happy, and rich. All the toys I’ve been wanting all year; right in front of me!! I started opening up some of my toys and started playing with them. Making sculptures out of clay, trying on clothing, and testing out my new perfume. Everyone got presents; even the cats! They got wrapping paper and cat nip which they love. After we pick up the wrapping paper, I put my Christmas dress on and everyone gets dressed up. We pick up a few things we want to show our cousins and head out the door to Maw Maw’s house. Her house is just down the road. Not far away at all. Everyone was there. Even my cousins from Maryland. We all ate then the cousins went into the living room and started to chant, “PRESENTS! PRESENTS! PRESENTS!” It is so much fun. Finally the adults come in and pawpaw makes a prayer then start handing out presents. You see, every year, they draw names. If you have someone’s name, you have to pick a present for them. So every on gets a present. It is a bunch of fun. We all sit in the living room waiting for our presents. After we get our presents, we have a wrapping paper fight. It is a lot of fun. Then all the older girls take their presents and go into maw maw’s cottage and hangout talking and playing. It has to be the best time of the year. I always have a great Christmas and I hope you do too.

Happy Laaate THANKSGIVING!

I know, I need to post more again. But I have just 30 minutes on the computer and can't do a gajillion things in just 30 minutes. So I am just saying, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I might be able to post pictures of what we did. My camera died right before I could take any pictures.. ARGGHH!!

The Slithery Package By, Me

The Slithery Package   by McKenna

“I would like a pack of assorted flowers stamps please.” Ordered Mrs. Paisley. “Yes, Miss. Paisley, right away.” Answered Willow Parrington. She walked over to the stamps.

 She really hated her part time Post Office job- She really did. But she had to work to satisfy her urge to splurge. She handed her the stamps. She was so tired... of work! As she laid her head down on her desk she started to dream of walking in to the 'youth exsplosion' in those gorgeous red heels. But that was months away and she still didn’t have the money for it. Suddenly, bursting the dream, a tall, older man with tan clothing walked in.

She ran to the front desk. “Hello, how may I help you?” Willow asked. “Mm, well, my name is Professor Prunting. I am waiting for a huge package that is addressed to me.” He answered. “Yes sir, it came in this morning. I’ll get it.” She quickly replied, As she started going towards the back.  She walked in and spotted the box. “It won’t hurt to take a peek inside...” She mumbled to herself.

When she lifted up the top, she wanted to scream, she wanted to run, but all she could do was stand there in shock. Suddenly, a hand came and rested on her shoulder……

It was the Manager. “Why did you open someone else’s package!?!?” She demanded. “I… I… am sorry! But look what’s inside! SNAKES!” Willow screamed. The professor heard her. He stepped in.  “My SNAKES! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! PICK THEM UP! FIND THEM!” He screamed. “I will never touch one of them!” Willow cried. So the professor picked them up himself and put them in their box.

 “Those are rare species of snakes imported from Tanzania! They are not poisonous. That’s why they are rare. They can hardly defend themselves. Now good day!” He blurted out as he picked up the box and stomped out.

“Good Job, Willow. Now you got yourself fired. Sorry but I have to fire you.” Said the manager. “FIRED! NOOO! I NEED THE MONEY!” Willow cried. “I am very sorry Willow, but I HAVE to fire you, dear; so I will give you a farewell present. Here, take these red shoes.” Said the Manager.

 Willow looked at the shoes in her hands. They were the shoes she was saving up for! “How did you know I wanted them?” Asked Willow.  “Well,” Joked the Manager. “You always talk about them!”

                   The End
I am going to write another story about the red shoes so just keep watching for it.
