An Ode to Toad.

In School yesterday I made my own Ode to toad for my creative writing. It was fun! Here it is...




The Ode To Toad Sung by Toad.

 This is an Ode to me.

It’ll be wonderful as you can see.

I’m perfect in every way,

I know all the right words to say!

Yes, I am truly handsome,

People would hold me for a high ransom!

Everyone flocks around me like sheep,

And when I talk, they never say a peep.

For a frog, I am very rich,

As other live in a ditch!

 But my mansion is gigantic,

Why, it’s bigger than the titanic!

I have the best of everything,

And I am the best at singing!

I have every good trait you can think of,

I am as innocent as a dove!

Beautiful Ladies look my way,

And with the most admirable voice say,

Who is that handsome frog walking on the road?

And they all exclaim, why it’s Mister Toad!

 This was an Ode to me.

It was wonderful as you can see.

Me and Fay.

This is a poem I decided to write for Valentines Day. Here Goes...
Me and Fay

On Valentines Day,
I sat by the bay,
with a person named Fay.
 There I lay,
and I began to say,
"Happy Valentines Day,
But I wish it was in May."

 THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
Anyway, I just like the sound of it. It was a lot of fun to write! :D

Books. greatest things in the earth!

I am recently reading a series called Fable Haven. They're great! Also, I'm rereading a series called, The Vikings Quest. Both are equally great. Trust me, I read two books from Vikings Quest last night and one this morning. And their not short either! Its just so good, I can't help myself! They are just so interesting!

Art Week in Reveiw: Paintings and Drawings

As you all know, last week was 'Art Week' This post is on our drawings and paintings. I drew these:

    THIS IS NOT A HAMBURGER!! It's a thingie that the upper class ladies played with to show they we dilligent. It's like, thread with knots or something.

                    A little girl from church inspired me for this one.

Art Week in reveiw: Sculpting

 Last week was art week at my little homeschool! We made some homemade play dough and has some fun!!

My first creation..

Its a  little container that looks like a pie!

 

               Here's the inside of it! See the 'M'?            

           

Ave and my brother did some too.

       

Ave and him never kept theirs though. Ave added to much water, and my brother got his stuck on a potato.

 My two other creations!

 A thingie to hang some wheres! It has a cupcake on it.

Here's The  Recipe:
1. 2 cups of flour
2. 2 cups of salt
3. and 1 cup of water
4. (optional) food dye

Mix it together, and add more water if its to dry, or add more salt and flour if its to wet. knead till' its the right texture. Enjoy!

 Also, I took those expensive perfume advertisements, and cut them out, and put them on my school box.

              

The Art Museum Field Trip

Wednesday we went to the Art Museum and it was great. We were supposed to have a picnic in the park right next to the museum, but it rained and so we did it in the car. Here is some pictures of our great escapade.

          You know how they have a statue in the middle of the stairs? Well, they changed it!

                                                   He is a tin man with a lantern!

                                        I thought this one was cute (But those kids are ugly!)

                                                  

                                             'Dogs at the French Market' Is what its called!

                      This room is full of stuff the czar of Russia had made for his daughter.

                                                    Eggs on necklaces, bracelets, and trees!

                                                      Um, you figure out what these are okay?
